Achievments: As President of the Biscayne Bay Kiwanis, Mr. Freedman is involved in the annual Kiwanis Auction Dinner. During his four years as president, the dinner raised over $250,000. The money raised funds the projects that the Kiwanis Club works on during the year. In 2007, Mr. Freedman was responsible for creating the College Scholarship Program whereby Kiwanis matches the State of Florida and awards a 5th grade student from an inner city elementary school a fully paid four year college scholarship through the Florida Prepaid Stanley Tate Scholarship Program. Mr. Freedman also participates in the Raising Readers Program, reading monthly to the 3rd grade students at Santa Clara Elementary School.
